Summer 2025 Internship - Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering

Vast is offering an advanced engineering internship program focused on designing and building space hardware and software for artificial gravity space stations.

• Solve challenging real-world engineering problems in various disciplines such as avionics, structures and mechanisms, and propulsion.
• Work on hardware development and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with industry experts to contribute to the operation of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and basic knowledge of engineering principles.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Long Beach, CA or Hawthorne, CA.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in extracurricular projects, volunteering, or internships is preferred.
