Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op - Spring 2025

The position is for a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at Fractyl Health, focusing on the manufacturing of current and next-generation medical device products.

• Support manufacturing team in clean room processes, fixture design, and fabrication
• Assist in equipment and process qualifications
• Generate and evaluate/testing component and assembly drawing specifications
• Develop validation and testing protocols, execute them, and write reports
• Analyze manufacturing data, including scrap analysis and process mapping
• Provide daily engineering support to catheter and console teams and supply chain

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering
• Co-op or internship experience in an engineering field, preferably medical devices
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAD experience
• Knowledge of catheter manufacturing processes
• Problem analysis and solving skills
• Basic statistics and data analysis knowledge
