Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for specifying, selecting, and procuring auxiliary equipment and support systems for Ebara Elliott Energy rotating equipment packages. They also manage project schedules and communicate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers.

• Review and interpret customer specifications for auxiliary equipment requisitioning
• Act as the primary technical contact for sub-supplier equipment
• Participate in project meetings and facilitate supplier meetings
• Keep project team informed of project status and issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and personal development
• Provide technical expertise on purchased auxiliaries
• Maintain professional conduct and promote a safe work environment

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3-10 years of engineering experience, preferably in petroleum, petrochemical, or turbomachinery
• Strong customer service skills and desire for continuous education
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cultures
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Ability to balance multiple projects and adapt to a dynamic work environment
