Mechanical Engineer Intern – Summer 2025

The role is for a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Array Tech, Inc. for the summer of 2025, focusing on designing and optimizing solar tracking systems.

• Assist in designing and developing mechanical components for solar trackers.
• Collaborate on simulations, stress analysis, and design improvements.
• Support in creating technical documentation, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
• Participate in testing prototypes and suggesting design modifications.
• Evaluate materials and manufacturing processes for cost and performance optimization.
• Conduct research on renewable energy and solar tracking technologies.
• Provide support for field installations and troubleshooting of solar trackers.

• Currently enrolled in a BS degree program in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials science, and engineering practices.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of structural analysis, FEA, and mechanical simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
