Electrical Test Engineering Co-op January- June 2025

The role is an electrical engineering co-op position at SPAN, focusing on assisting with new product introduction, testing, and manufacturing efforts in the consumer electronics sector.

• Develop electrical functional tests for prototype designs and systems
• Perform Design for Test and provide feedback to hardware design engineers
• Create test specifications for various assemblies
• Architect test systems and design necessary electronics
• Write software for test equipment control and automation
• Integrate, checkout, and validate test equipment
• Produce technical documentation for test systems

• Working towards a graduate level degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering and circuit theories
• Passion for renewable energy and energy storage
• Self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze problems and work with team members
• Basic understanding and experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
• Basic knowledge of Altium Designer
