Intern, Electrical & Computer Engineering (Summer 2025)

Chamberlain Group is offering an internship for an Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science Intern/Co-Op to work on hardware and firmware projects related to access control products.

• Provide electrical engineering hardware and firmware support
• Analyze, design, and debug tests for digital and analog circuits
• Schematic capture PCB design
• Write design specifications and test reports
• Perform bench testing of designs

• Minimum junior standing towards a degree in relevant fields
• Ability to work from the Oakbrook, IL office 3 days a week
• Driven to learn new ideas and design practices
• Experience with prototyping electronics or software projects
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with MS Office tools
• Programming experience with C, Arduino, Python, or another object-oriented programming language
