The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at Fortive Corporation's Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC) division, responsible for resolving manufacturing issues on the factory floor.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Sales Order kickoff and review Manufacturing Instructions.
- Lead process-related failure investigations and manage communications.
- Identify and implement process/flow and tooling improvements.
- Aid in design reviews and develop Capital Appropriation Requests.
Job Requirements
- BS in engineering or technical discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in technical and manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in weld process development, Design of Experiments, and statistical software.
- Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, and process excellence tools.
