Graduate Mechanical Engineer (Available 2025)

Arup is offering a full-time position for a Junior Mechanical Engineer in the Consumer Electronics department to design HVAC services with a focus on sustainable design within the built environment.

• Design HVAC services in the built environment.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants for integrated solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis and modeling.
• Document system design in Revit MEP.
• Communicate technical ideas to various audiences.
• Write reports documenting calculation methods and results.
• Prioritize effectively and influence sustainable design outcomes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Coursework in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Proven leadership experience and time management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Interest in sustainable design and building sciences.
