Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to enhance legacy tooling and fixtures in a specialized position.

• Map out critical functions and mechanical elements of the current guitar fabrication process
• Understand the material transformation process of wood and translate it into technical requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external teams for tool fabrication and design
• Partner with manufacturing and new product organizations for deploying and monitoring new tools

• Experience in a production environment, particularly in tooling engineering
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills
• Ability to handle regulated materials in compliance with regulations
• Proficiency in precision measurement devices and hand tools
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred, with experience in a production environment highly desirable
