Electrical Engineer (Battery Lab) Intern

Shure is offering a summer internship program for undergraduate and graduate students at their Battery Lab in Illinois, focusing on designing safe and reliable battery solutions for wireless devices.

• Develop, evaluate, and test batteries and power circuitry
• Assemble prototypes and conduct system/sub-system level tests
• Monitor battery tests and assist with lab maintenance
• Support battery recycling needs

• Completion of two years of coursework in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Basic knowledge of test equipment and soldering techniques
• Understanding of programming languages like Java, C, C++, or Python
• Familiarity with power circuit design and embedded microcontrollers
