Mechanical Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

The role is for a full-time Mid Level Mechanical Engineer in the Design Engineering department focusing on Industrial Water projects in Lone Tree, Colorado.

• Perform design of various mechanical systems for water projects
• Develop project design calculations and equipment specifications
• Coordinate project's mechanical design within multi-disciplinary teams
• Support detailed technical bid analyses for equipment
• Generate design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards
• Support construction team with design solutions and on-site representation
• Perform early project design work and understand industry standards

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required
• 3+ years of industry related mechanical engineering experience
• Proficiency in developing P&ID's, equipment specifications, and drawings
• Experience with SmartPlant or similar software and Microsoft Office suite
• Preferred experience with hydraulic simulation software
• Strong communication, safety, and organizational skills
