Responsibilities
- Provide design, coordination, and oversight of mechanical systems for water projects.
- Manage project design calculations and equipment specifications.
- Coordinate project's mechanical design within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Generate and check design deliverables in accordance with industry standards.
- Support the construction team and provide design solutions on-site.
- Develop schedules, work assignments, and staffing requirements for projects.
- Train and mentor peers and support staff on industry standards and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required.
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience in water or wastewater treatment.
- Proficient in developing P&ID's, equipment specifications, and drawings.
- Experience with SmartPlant or similar software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
