Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer supports the transfer of new electro-mechanical product designs from R&D to Manufacturing, focusing on process improvement and cost reduction.

• Work with Repair Technicians for effective troubleshooting & repair
• Recommend design changes to enhance product quality, performance, cost, & reliability
• Build & test prototypes for new product development
• Troubleshoot and solve difficult electrical problems
• Develop manuals, test procedures, BOMs, PC board layouts, and electrical schematics
• Create assembly procedures, work instructions, and test plans
• Manage the transfer of PC Boards to Contract Manufacturer

• BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 3-5 years’ experience
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical writing
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to use electronic test equipment and read mechanical drawings
• Familiarity with ESD prevention, workmanship standards, and Quality Management Systems
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods
