Manufacturing Engineer (Merlin Turbopumps & Injectors)

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at SpaceX, focusing on Merlin turbopumps and injectors to support critical engine hardware for space missions.

• Support production of Falcon and Merlin engine sub-assemblies
• Analyze manufacturing discrepancies and lead corrective actions
• Develop and evaluate manufacturing processes to reduce costs
• Provide expertise on manufacturing processes
• Identify design-for-manufacturability improvements
• Coordinate with various departments for quality hardware delivery

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline
• 1+ years of mechanical design or manufacturing experience
• Experience with aerospace welding, non-destructive testing, and metallurgical evaluation
• Knowledge of metallic manufacturing techniques and CAD experience
• Ability to work hands-on with hardware and stand for up to 4 hours a day
