Substation Engineer Intern - Kiewit Power Engineering (Summer 2025)

The role is an internship in the Design Engineering department with a focus on Electrical Engineering in the Power sector.

• Create design documents and drawings for projects
• Assist with various engineering support tasks
• Review project schedules and ensure projects remain on track
• Utilize engineering application software for tasks
• Apply corporate standard engineering practices
• Assist with project activities and communication
• Ensure quality and accuracy of work

• Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals, power systems, and engineering standards
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet deadlines
• Perform work safely and follow instructions
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
