Propulsion Engineer (All Levels)

The role is for a Propulsion Engineer at Argo, focusing on the development of water-based propulsion systems for the Argonaut in-space transport vehicle.

• Design propulsion components and systems using computational tools and first-principles calculations
• Prototype, troubleshoot, and test propulsion hardware
• Qualify propulsion hardware for expected mission environments
• Develop build and test procedures, and own the outcome of test campaigns
• Participate in design reviews, test readiness reviews, and flight readiness reviews

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or science discipline
• 3+ years of experience in designing and testing thrusters and thermo-fluidic systems
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
• Experience managing analysis products and incorporating feedback into design
• Ability to adapt under changing circumstances
• Track record of delivering high-quality technical products
