Propulsion Engineer (All Levels)

The role is for a Propulsion Engineer at Argo, focusing on the development of water-based propulsion systems for the Argonaut in-space transport vehicle.

• Design propulsion components and systems using computational tools and calculations
• Prototype, troubleshoot, and test propulsion hardware
• Qualify propulsion hardware for expected mission environments
• Implement build and test procedures, and own test campaign outcomes
• Participate in design, test, and flight readiness reviews with a focus on technical excellence

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or science discipline
• 3+ years of experience in designing and testing thrusters or thermo-fluidic systems
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
• Experience managing analysis products and incorporating feedback into design
• Ability to adapt under changing circumstances
• Track record of delivering high-quality technical products
• Preferred qualifications include experience with spacecraft propulsion systems, CAD software, and high-level programming languages.
