Mechanical Engineer

The role is for a Senior Mechanical Engineer at HDR in the Building Engineering Services team, responsible for creating project deliverables and collaborating with a nationwide team on system designs.

• Coordinate mechanical design team's work through project phases
• Establish meetings for code compliance reviews
• Coordinate workload and complete project documents on schedule
• Conduct work sessions at project sites
• Write and edit mechanical specifications, select equipment, systems, and devices
• Provide construction contract administration
• Conduct QA/QC on mechanical work of other team members

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience in commercial or institutional mechanical system design
• Knowledge of industry software and standards
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Previous experience in an engineering consulting firm
