Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Engineering (R&D) and Manufacturing teams.
- Own execution of product roadmaps from prototyping to manufacturing readiness.
- Develop and implement scalable production processes.
- Translate business priorities into technical plans and operational targets.
- Hire, manage, and mentor a high-performing technical team.
- Collaborate with the CTO and CEO to align technical strategy with business goals.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements across engineering and production.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in engineering or manufacturing, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Strong technical background in mechanical systems, automation, or robotics.
- Experience with product development and transitioning designs into production.
- Skilled in project planning and cross-functional coordination.
- Familiarity with quality systems and production metrics.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment.
