Manufacturing Engineer, PCBA (Starlink)

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at SpaceX focused on PCBA for their Starlink project.

• Manage PCBA manufacturing processes and products
• Drive volume production processes for PCBA
• Lead new product introductions and equipment selection
• Improve safety of the PCBA production line
• Track schedule, work-in-progress levels, and defect rates
• Provide feedback for design improvements
• Identify and correct production and testing issues

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related areas
• Experience with SMT processing or PCB design
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of IPC manufacturing standards
• Skills in SQL, Python, statistical techniques, and Six Sigma
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work extended hours if needed
