Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The role at Alcoa is for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within the Research & Development team, focusing on advancing process control knowledge for specific projects.

• Manage the safe operation of power systems
• Create proposals for new power distribution equipment
• Maintain and improve existing electrical systems
• Perform power system load flow analysis
• Work with internal teams and contractors for troubleshooting
• Evaluate equipment performance for reliability improvements
• Lead high voltage audits for compliance

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience with electrical power distribution equipment
• Experience with industrial electrical systems
• Strong understanding of power distribution systems and technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and manage multiple projects
• Competency with Microsoft business applications
• Hands-on experience with low and high voltage equipment
