The role is for an electrical engineering position focused on designing and developing low power battery-operated medical devices electronics, specifically for administrating insulin to diabetes patients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop low power battery-operated devices for insulin administration.
- Generate design requirements, prototyping, and design implementation.
- Conduct design reviews, verification, and documentation following FDA guidelines.
- Generate test requirements matrix and procedures for design input requirements.
- Identify test methods and develop test fixtures for design verification.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and design validation processes.
- Perform design modifications, component qualifications, and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' experience in related fields.
- Working knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, low power embedded design, and Computer Aided Design.
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines, RF Design, BLE protocol, and LabVIEW tools is a plus.
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to use laboratory equipment for electronics measurement.
- Knowledge of PCB layout design rules, electrical safety, and EMC standards for medical devices.
