Electrical Engineer

Snap Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Snap Lab team focusing on hardware products.

• Engineer component analysis, schematic design, circuit review, layout review, and general debugging
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and industrial design teams
• Design, review, and supervise layout for PCB, Flex, and Rigid Flex designs
• Test and validate all electrical designs
• Develop electronic prototypes for new product concepts
• Author clear and comprehensive electrical test documentation
• Simulate, test, and validate EMI and ESD performance of all designs

• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
• 7+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering
• Experience in electronic design and familiarity with tools like Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture
• BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Knowledge of lab instrumentation and PDN/SI simulation tools
• Experience defining integrated circuit design power delivery specifications
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across groups
