Manufacturing Engineer (Raptor Machining)

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer focused on Raptor machining at SpaceX, with the goal of enabling human life on Mars.

• Develop and implement machining processes for engine hardware.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure robust processes and solve production issues.
• Implement design for manufacturing updates and manage change into production.
• Drive machining process controls and quality assurance initiatives.
• Oversee full circle machining process and ensure on-time delivery of hardware.

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with machining concepts and hardware production.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
• Experience in design or product development engineering role.
• Mechanical component design, process development, and aerospace industry experience.
• Hands-on position requiring physical work and occasional travel or long hours.
