Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and implement machining processes to improve engine cost, quality, and production rate.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure robust processes and quick resolution of production issues.
- Implement design for manufacturing updates and machining process controls.
- Oversee part quality and drive projects for dimensional requirements.
- Develop statistically controlled machining processes and tools.
- Ensure on-time delivery of hardware and introduce new products.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with machining concepts and hardware production.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
- Mechanical component design, process development, and aerospace industry experience.
- Hands-on position requiring physical work with hardware.
- Willingness to travel and work long hours when needed.
