Electrical Engineer, Reality Labs

The role is for an Electrical Engineer at Meta Reality Labs working on AR, VR, or New Technology projects to create tools that enhance connectivity.

• Own electrical development of complex systems under technical guidance.
• Design schematics, oversee board layout, and conduct design reviews.
• Conduct feasibility studies, propose innovative solutions, and manage product performance enhancements.
• Manage bring up, debug, and support manufacturing.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems and manage trade-offs.
• Evaluate vendor designs and customize solutions.
• Contribute to team building and Meta's diversity goals.

• 4+ years of industry experience in electrical design.
• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering fundamentals and schematic/board design.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, high-speed digital test equipment, or logic analyzers.
• Technical communication skills.
• Preferred qualifications include higher education, experience with high-speed signaling, vision systems, and programming languages like Python or C/C++.
