Mechanical Design Engineer

The company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for their Pittsburgh location, primarily focusing on electro-mechanical components and systems.

• Design and analyze electro-mechanical components and systems
• Develop drawings and specifications for new and modified designs
• Support manufacturing and testing of electro-mechanical equipment
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and interpret results
• Plan and execute various engineering activities
• Design new equipment and machinery
• Determine maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-10 years of experience in manufacture and design of engineered products
• Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs
• Proficiency in GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, FEA methods
• Ability to create models and drawings, perform analysis, and present design reviews
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
