Sr. Mechanical Engineer

The Prime Data Centers Sr. Mechanical Engineer is responsible for mechanical engineering efforts related to a portfolio of data center projects, supporting long-term business strategies, innovation, collaboration, design and construction, and customer interface and facility support.

• Support innovation and development in alignment with key stakeholders
• Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure design standards
• Perform mechanical engineering tasks for investment planning and approval process
• Review RFPs and bid levelling for design services
• Support design and construction team with owner review of deliverables
• Research new designs, materials, and construction methods
• Attend design and construction meetings, participate in testing, and troubleshoot system challenges

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data center mechanical design and construction
• Proficiency in software such as Bluebeam, Teams, Excel, and Word
• Experience with engineering software like AutoCAD, Revit, and CFD analysis
• Understanding of construction codes and data center industry standards
