Power Electrical Engineer

Meta Reality Labs is seeking a Senior Power Electrical Engineer to work on creating power models, power circuit design, and system-level solutions for consumer electronics products.

• Create power models for battery day of use estimation and power circuit design.
• Generate design documentation, guide schematic capture, and conduct power delivery network simulation.
• Characterize power consumption and battery run time across multiple products.
• Evaluate and implement innovative solutions for cost, size, efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to optimize product differentiation.
• Root-cause and solve technical issues during new technology development.
• Lead technical teams and vendors against plans.

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in low power design in consumer electronics.
• Knowledge of power conversion characteristics and battery management systems.
• Experience with PCB technologies and system power optimization.
• Demonstrated experience in bringing new technologies to product.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Experience in system integration involving PMICs and wireless sub-systems.
