Product Design Engineer, Reality Labs

The role is for a Product Design Engineer at Reality Labs, focusing on developing hardware systems for AR, VR, or New Technology Initiatives in the consumer electronics sector.

• Lead mechanical design for specific components or systems
• Contribute to mechanical solutions in a cross-functional team
• Prototype, test, and refine designs
• Work through the full product development cycle
• Collaborate with Asia-based Supply Chain
• Explore cutting-edge technologies for mechanical problem-solving
• Travel to external vendors

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of industry experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD, manufacturing processes, and prototyping
• Knowledge of material properties and testing/analysis techniques
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing techniques
• Preferred: 5+ years of product design experience, knowledge of NX CAD, fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese, and experience with human factors design
