Product Design Engineer, Reality Labs

The role is for a Product Design Engineer at Reality Labs focusing on developing hardware systems for AR, VR, or New Technology Initiatives in consumer electronics.

• Lead mechanical design for components or systems
• Contribute to mechanical solutions in a cross-functional team
• Prototype, test, and refine designs
• Collaborate with supply chain and external vendors
• Push for innovative mechanical solutions
• Travel to external vendors up to 20%

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of industry experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD, DFM, DFA, GD&T, and material properties
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing techniques and testing
• Preferred: 5+ years of product design experience, knowledge of NX CAD, experience with cosmetic products, fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese, and MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
