Electrical Engineer, Reality Labs

The role is for an Electrical Engineer at Meta Reality Labs, working on AR, VR, or New Technology Team to design, build, and test prototype electrical systems for consumer experiences within Facebook’s Family of Products.

• Contribute to the development of complex subsystems
• Design schematics, evaluate components, direct board layout
• Manage bring up and debug, support manufacturing and assembly build
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines
• Evaluate vendor reference designs and transform them into custom solutions
• Contribute to building and sustaining internal Meta community
• Travel domestically and internationally

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals
• Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent
• Experience with high-speed digital test equipment
• Technical communication skills
• Experience with consumer electronics and mass production environment
• Preferred: MS or PHD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
