Electrical Engineer, Reality Labs

The role is for an Electrical Engineer at Meta Reality Labs working on AR, VR, or New Technology Team to design, build, and test prototype electrical systems for future consumer experiences.

• Own electrical development of complex subsystems or systems
• Design schematics, conduct design reviews, and draft design documentations
• Evaluate new technologies, propose innovative solutions, and manage bring up and debug
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and evaluate vendor reference designs
• Contribute to building and sustaining internal Meta community through recruitment and mentorship
• Work autonomously, manage priorities, and travel domestically and internationally

• 4+ years of industry experience in electrical design
• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium or equivalent
• Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals
• Technical communication skills
• Experience with high-speed digital test equipment and signal processing
• Experience with consumer electronics and mass production environment
