Electrical Engineer - Hydrocarbons

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Oil and Gas Facility design projects in the Energy sector.

• Supervise electrical aspects of Oil and Gas Facility design projects.
• Review and oversee Electrical design of junior engineers and designers.
• Create one-line diagrams, Hazardous Area Classification drawings, Panel Schedules, cable schedules, and grounding design.
• Develop power systems models including Arc Flash studies and Load Flow Studies.
• Work independently to complete tasks within set timeframes and budgets.

• Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering design experience in Heavy industrial projects.
• Experience in creating and reviewing electrical design, construction, and commissioning documents.
• BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• PE License or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Knowledge of design codes and standards like NFPA, NEC, NESC, API, ISA, and AGA.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
• Familiarity with electrical modeling software such as ETAP and SKM.
