Responsibilities
- Support verification and validation of hardware modules through testing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and validate battery control algorithms.
- Conduct laboratory testing to optimize battery performance and safety.
- Perform thermal modeling for safety and cost reduction.
- Write test cases and reports for vehicle requirements.
- Analyze data using MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
- Assist in triaging and root-cause analysis of test results.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or advanced degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Maintain good academic standing and plan to return to school after the internship.
- At least one prior industry internship or relevant project experience.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and familiarity with CAN networks.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Basic knowledge of thermodynamics and battery systems is a plus.
- Willing to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the internship.
