Responsibilities
- Specify electrical component and system requirements and lead engineering discussions with suppliers.
- Coordinate supplier tooling and production to meet vehicle milestones.
- Collaborate with hardware design, firmware, software teams, and system operators to iterate on designs.
- Conduct root cause analysis during development and validation phases.
- Support the development and execution of validation test plans.
- Work with manufacturing and quality engineers to mature components and support vehicle testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical component/system design and troubleshooting.
- Experience in taking a part or assembly from concept to production.
- Background in automotive, aerospace, or safety-critical industries.
- Familiarity with electrical and EMI/C testing.
- Knowledge of automotive functional safety (ISO26262) standards is a bonus.
- Experience with tools like Altium, 3DX, Catia V5/V6 is preferred.
