Responsibilities
- Design, build, and run electro-mechanical testers for components like batteries and motors.
- Develop tests and setups based on engineering specifications.
- Utilize CAD tools for designing parts and assemblies.
- Evaluate design concepts and trade-offs using a first principles approach.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to review designs and improve processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for component failures.

Job Requirements
- Experience designing and building mechatronics systems outside of the classroom.
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals for part sizing and integration.
- Automation experience with actuators and Raspberry Pi or similar.
- Proficiency in CAD and experience with multiple design projects.
- Ability to adapt and simplify designs when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a bias to action.
- Positive attitude and commitment to solving critical problems.
