Responsibilities
- Design and produce unique parts using various materials and machines.
- Coordinate outsourcing of fabrication as needed.
- Provide quality control and assurance for parts produced.
- Support technology initiatives and assess technical proposals.
- Provide engineering support for precision machining and setup of machines.
- Familiarize and operate design software for product development.
- Suggest design changes to improve production and processes.
Job Requirements
- Must be a US citizen and eligible for TS/SCI clearance.
- BA/BS in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering with 4+ years of experience.
- Experience in CAD 3D modeling.
- Ability to analyze operational requirements and provide system capability input.
- Experience in mechanical engineering activities related to technology development.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and resources effectively.
