Responsibilities
- Create and maintain manufacturing process plans and work instructions.
- Develop and execute roadmaps to streamline processes using new tooling and technologies.
- Validate manufacturing processes, tooling, and production line layout for spacecraft builds.
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP environment and coordinate changes with design engineering.
- Solve technical and production problems across functional disciplines to minimize workflow impacts.
- Provide floor support for complex space hardware assembly and testing.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team passionate about space systems and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic and mechanical assembly drawings.
- Proficiency in common computer programs (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desired skills include IPC certifications, experience with electronics manufacturing processes, and Lean Six Sigma certifications.
- Familiarity with aerospace products and technical writing skills.
