Responsibilities
- Own the electrical power subsystem for spacecraft missions from system definition through assembly, test, and operations.
- Act as the expert for electrical power system anomalies, driving root cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, integration & test, and systems engineering teams for smooth handoffs and fidelity.
- Develop and manage subsystem requirements, test plans, procedures, and documentation.
- Interface with supply chain and procurement to ensure quality components delivery.
- Represent the EPS team in design reviews, customer meetings, and risk discussions.
- Improve team processes, tools, and test methodologies for design, validation, and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
- Experience with electrical circuit or system design.
- Strong communication skills to drive resolutions across teams.
- Comfortable with root cause investigations using lab test equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
- Understanding of space environment factors and spacecraft subsystems.
- Knowledge of spacecraft power system architectures and design principles.
