Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and development of new products through all phases.
- Architect and implement electrical systems integrating sensors and embedded control systems.
- Create prototypes for early testing of new product concepts.
- Recommend electronic component selections for product development.
- Conduct design reviews, DFMEAs, and risk assessments for product reliability.
- Interface with contract manufacturers and suppliers for design and production support.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the electrical engineering team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Greater than 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
- Proven experience in NPI environments for product development.
- Strong background in analog/digital circuit design and embedded systems.
- Experience with firmware development and collaboration with firmware teams.
- Proficiency with ECAD tools and simulation tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
