Responsibilities
- Sustain, improve, and validate manufacturing processes to meet quality and cost requirements.
- Collect and transcribe data to report on manufacturing performance.
- Work with equipment designers and suppliers to develop cost-effective production processes.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to financial budgets.
- Communicate technical requirements to suppliers while maintaining confidentiality.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous process improvement.
- Coach and mentor others in manufacturing engineering.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in Engineering or Manufacturing, particularly in plastics.
- Proficiency in engineering principles such as DFM, DFA, and QA/QC.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of lean tools and methodologies.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred).
