Responsibilities
- Work with equipment designers and suppliers to develop cost-effective production processes.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for customization equipment.
- Identify issues and implement solutions related to manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate new product introductions with multidisciplinary teams.
- Support Production Technicians in troubleshooting complex issues.
- Generate specifications, validation plans, and acceptance criteria for new equipment.
- Collaborate with the quality team on root cause analysis for quality issues.
Job Requirements
- BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Greater than 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Understanding of lean tools and principles.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and develop electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
