Responsibilities

  • Act as a Thermal Engineer for aircraft development in the autonomous UAM market.
  • Develop and implement thermal management strategies for battery systems.
  • Support problem-solving related to battery cooling and thermal runaway containment.
  • Contribute to aircraft system design ensuring thermal performance and safety.
  • Assist in prototype hardware design, integration, and testing.
  • Analyze and report results to optimize thermal management systems.
  • Perform system analysis using first-principles calculations and simulations.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree with graduation expected between December 2026 and June 2028.
  • Preferred fields: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in developing complex hardware products in relevant industries.
  • CAD experience with commercial software like Solidworks or CATIA.
  • Hands-on experience with prototypes and thermal-fluid systems.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation for thermally-focused testing.
  • Programming experience in Matlab/Simulink or Python.
