Responsibilities
- Perform product design and development for customer-funded programs and new projects.
- Specify designs and document all materials, components, and performance specifications.
- Create detailed drawings, procedures, and BOMs for manufacturing.
- Document and record product data using CAD and product data management systems.
- Identify production steps, special equipment/tooling requirements, and test plans.
- Review technical content for proposals and provide support to sales teams.
- Participate in NPI projects, quoting, contract reviews, and general customer inquiries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, or material science engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of assembly design, materials, and electrical/mechanical testing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and SolidWorks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and take ownership of contributions.
- Familiarity with product data management and ERP systems.
