Responsibilities
- Own commercial relationships with suppliers, managing quotations and negotiations.
- Lead supplier reviews focusing on readiness, capacity planning, and performance metrics.
- Develop sourcing strategies for silicon and semiconductors, emphasizing risk mitigation.
- Proactively resolve supply issues through collaboration with teams and partners.
- Evaluate sourcing opportunities based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
- Partner with hardware engineering to align component selection with product goals.
- Contribute to broader supply chain initiatives for commodity alignment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field; electrical engineering preferred.
- 8+ years in strategic sourcing and commodity management of electronic components.
- Deep knowledge of electronic components relevant to fitness wearables.
- Experience with Tier 1 electronic distributors and component manufacturers.
- Proficient in supplier contract negotiation and cost modeling.
- Familiarity with Arena PLM and NetSuite ERP is a plus.
- Commitment to leveraging AI tools in daily tasks.
