Responsibilities
- Own commercial relationships with suppliers from quotation through execution, including negotiation of cost elements and variance analysis.
- Lead weekly and quarterly supplier reviews, focusing on clear-to-build readiness, capacity planning, and KPI performance.
- Develop and manage sourcing strategies for silicon and semiconductor components to mitigate risks.
- Resolve component supply issues by collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Evaluate sourcing opportunities based on quality, cost, inventory, and delivery metrics.
- Partner with hardware engineering to align component selection with product performance goals.
- Contribute to broader supply chain initiatives ensuring commodity alignment across sourcing programs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field; technical education in electrical engineering preferred.
- 8+ years in strategic sourcing and commodity management of electronic components.
- Deep knowledge of electronic components relevant to fitness wearables.
- Strong experience with Tier 1 electronic distributors and component manufacturers.
- Proficient in supplier contract negotiation and cost modeling.
- Experience with Arena PLM and NetSuite ERP is a plus.
- Certifications such as APICS-CSCP or ISM-CPSM are desirable.
