Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering for commercial and utility scale solar projects.
- Ensure contractual electrical engineering scope is incorporated into design and manage change orders.
- Meet project deliverable schedules for electrical engineering scope.
- Collaborate with civil and structural engineers, and surveyors.
- Perform electrical calculations and design construction documents.
- QA/QC design work of interns and junior engineers.
- Support project construction by addressing contractor and owner requests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Engineering.
- 3-7 years of experience in electrical design and construction.
- Proficiency in electrical power system modeling programs.
- Knowledge of NEC and NESC.
- Strong communication skills and ability to produce technical reports.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
