Responsibilities
- Perform engineering work in support of nuclear power plants.
- Engage in software programming including Visual Studio.
- Conduct structural evaluation of ASME Section III components, focusing on stress and fatigue.
- Perform Fracture Mechanics Analysis, including Probabilistic Fracture Mechanics.
- Utilize Finite Element Analysis, preferably using ANSYS.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 is strongly preferred.
- Experience with ASME Section III and Section XI criteria is preferred but not required.
- Experience with ASTM Code is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with FEA and ANSYS/ABAQUS is preferred but not required.
