Responsibilities
- Perform engineering work in support of mechanical power plant equipment design and construction.
- Develop design requirements for pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and other equipment.
- Identify problems and propose solutions for assigned projects.
- Support senior engineering personnel in design and analysis efforts.
- Make technical evaluations to support engineering decisions.
- Communicate work status to technical leads and management.
- Collaborate with project teams and participate in meetings with customers and vendors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in MathCad, MATLAB, or VBA.
- Familiarity with testing and analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software Suite.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated with a desire to learn.
