Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components to ensure seismic integrity and ease of manufacturing, including creating 3D models.
- Support the design of cabinet hardware electrical applications and assemblies.
- Manage Bill of Material and revision control of mechanical design packages.
- Compile technical and quality documentation for procurement, testing, and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and fabricators to resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Interface with engineering organizations and third-party test facilities for equipment qualification tests.
- Perform engineering calculations to support product design or analysis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 0-3 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Preferred experience with sheet metal design and knowledge of welding requirements.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault (or similar).
- Experience with Geometric Tolerances and Dimensions (ASME Y14.5).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
