Responsibilities
- Understand and define project specifications and performance requirements for equipment and systems.
- Define requirements for modifications to existing control systems or installation of new hardware.
- Define requirements for instrumentation, servos, and drives.
- Provide rough order of magnitude estimates for changes and new equipment.
- Update Process and Instrumentation Drawings, Electrical Elementaries, and Loop Sheets.
- Prepare technical documents for equipment purchase, installation, and testing/qualification.
- Convey project information to all organizational levels, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with demonstrated instrumentation and controls knowledge.
- Interest in pursuing a career in control systems engineering.
- Preferred skills include experience with Emerson Ovation and MATLAB.
