Responsibilities
- Review and approve suppliers’ dimensional inspections plans.
- Coordinate with suppliers for process approvals and resolve delivery issues.
- Perform cost analysis and evaluate supplier cost proposals.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to develop manufacturing processes.
- Establish quality control measures and inspection procedures.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in traditional manufacturing processes in the aviation industry.
- Knowledge of special processes such as welding and plating.
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred: 9+ years of engineering experience in the aviation industry.
