Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and CREO.
- Perform simulations for thermal management and mechanical robustness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrating optical elements and enclosures.
- Conduct risk assessments and quality checks, contributing to design evaluations.
- Support prototype fabrication processes and assist in assembly planning.
- Assist in procurement and implementation of precision measurement tools.
- Engage in documentation and communication of design processes and results.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical product design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent).
- Experience with thermal simulation tools.
- Understanding of tolerancing and material selection for optics.
- Familiarity with optical alignment principles and reliability analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
