Responsibilities
- Take ownership of products from concept to mass production.
- Join a small, fast-paced team to make key design decisions.
- Prototype and analyze mechanical systems for product requirements relevant to enterprise hardware.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including Electrical Engineers and Industrial Designers.
- Design parts for mass-manufacturing, focusing on DFM/DFA and validation testing.
- Steer overseas vendor collaboration and learn about tooling bring-up & part inspection.
- Contribute to user-centric design for aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly products.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Available for a Summer Co-Op (4-8 months) starting May 2025.
- Expected graduation date in 2027.
- Strong understanding of strength of materials, thermodynamics, and manufacturing.
- Experience with 3D CAD software.
- Experience with rapid prototyping, building, and testing hardware.
- Possess a startup mindset and adaptability to new challenges.
